Profits rocket at East Midlands manufacturer as space demand takes off
Profits have more than tripled at an East Midlands advanced materials manufacturer after surging demand from the space sector helped push sales up by almost three-quarters.
Toray Advanced Composites UK, which is based at Amber Drive in Langley Mill, saw turnover rise by 74% from £21.5m to £37.3m in the year to March 31, 2026.
Pre-tax profits jumped 242% from £2.6m to £8.9m, while operating profit increased from £2.9m to £9.1m.
