Profits plunge by almost 90% at award-winning East Midlands manufacturer
An award-winning Leicestershire manufacturer has seen its profits collapse by almost 90% after a sharp fall in turnover and mounting cost pressures.
Winbro Group Technologies, which specialises in advanced machining systems for the aerospace and clean power generation industries, reported pre-tax profits of £336,000 for the year to December 31, 2025, down from £3.2m in 2024.
Turnover at the Loughborough-based company fell by 27.5%, from £29.2m to £21.2m, while profit after tax slumped by 93.2% to £173,243.
