Mariners owner raises £3m as new director joins board
1878 Partners, the owner of Grimsby Town FC, has raised around £3m through a major new share issue at the same time as appointing Lorna Stockwood as a director.
Companies House filings show the company allotted 2,531,645 new ordinary shares on 21 September at £1.185 each, generating approximately £3m in new capital.
