Marketing Derby unveils Property Summit programme

Marketing Derby has revealed the speaker line-up for its annual Property Summit.

The event – the largest commercial property show in the East Midlands – will be held on 22 June at the iPro stadium.

The Summit will be centred on the theme ‘thinking global, acting local’, showcasing Derby’s place in the global market.

Marketing Derby says that this year’s Summit will build upon that momentum and focus on a number of key issues integral to the region’s growth.

It will be hosted by broadcast journalist Declan Curry, and will include presentations from Marketing Derby managing director John Forkin, Christine Durrant, strategic director of communities and place for Derby City Council and Courtney Fingar, editor of FDi Magazine.

Marketing Derby says it will reveal a number of key announcements centred on commercial property in the city.

John Forkin, managing director of Marketing Derby, said: “Each year the Summit puts Derby at the centre of the property community including top quality presentations and discussion. We now attract professionals from all over the country which gives us an opportunity to showcase the city’s future investment opportunities contained in the new city masterplan.

“As it’s being held the day before the Euro Referendum, this year’s Summit will also look at the potential impact of Brexit on investment and property with a guest speaker from the Financial Times fDi Magazine.”
