Tank in a RUSH with new client win

Nottingham PR agency Tank has been chosen to launch a number of new salons across the UK for an award-winning hairdressing group.

RUSH Hair has employed the skills of Tank to raise awareness of its expansion into the Midlands and the North.

Nicola Ellul, head of marketing for RUSH Hair, said: ““We initially asked Tank to launch just one salon in Leicester, after developing a strategy to employ local agencies who knew the areas best. However, after a successful launch that attracted bookings before the salon had even opened, we realised that Tank would be able to handle a results-driven PR campaign regardless of location.

“As such, we decided to work with the team to launch two more subsequent salons, one in its home city of Nottingham, and another at our prestigious flagship salon in Manchester.”

Louise Stewart, director at Tank, said: “We know exactly how to get ‘bums on seats’ for our restaurant, bar and leisure clients – but a hairdressing salon was a new challenge for us. We used our expertise to secure thousands of pounds worth of positive coverage, and invited influencers from across each city to VIP launch events to really get the public talking about these new salons.
