Lincolnshire-based surfacing and civil engineering firm, Minster Group, has been bought by construction materials firm Breedon.<\/p>\n
The acquisition will see Leicester-based Breedon take a majority stake in Minster, which includes civil engineers Minster Surfacing and Alliance Recycling.<\/p>\n
Bruce Spencer-Knott, co-founder of Minster will remain in position as the firm\u2019s managing director and the business will be a distinct brand within Breedon.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cAfter 24 years of growing Minster Group into one of the country\u2019s leading independent contractors, it\u2019s time to take things to the next level, securing its future as part of Breedon Group.<\/p>\n
