{"id":2106307,"date":"2026-01-20T07:06:55","date_gmt":"2026-01-20T07:06:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/eastmidlands\/?p=2106307"},"modified":"2026-01-20T07:06:55","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T07:06:55","slug":"staffline-expects-full-year-results-to-beat-market-expectations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/eastmidlands\/news\/2106307-staffline-expects-full-year-results-to-beat-market-expectations","title":{"rendered":"Staffline expects full-year results to beat market expectations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"454\" data-end=\"676\">Staffline Group expects its full-year results for 2025 to be significantly ahead of market expectations after reporting strong revenue and profit growth, supported by a successful peak trading period and new contract wins.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"678\" data-end=\"916\">The AIM-listed recruitment group said revenue for the year to 31 December 2025 rose 11.5% to \u00a31.1bn, driven largely by a new strategic partnership with a major logistics provider and continued market share gains in the blue-collar sector.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"918\" data-end=\"1121\">Gross profit increased 10.6% to \u00a378.3m, while operating profit rose 28.3% to \u00a312.7m, exceeding market expectations. Profit before tax climbed 42% to \u00a37.1m, with no material non-underlying items reported.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1649\" data-end=\"1781\">The group continued its share buyback programme during the year, repurchasing \u00a36.5m of shares as part of a programme of up to \u00a37.5m.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1783\" data-end=\"2267\">Albert Ellis, chief executive of Staffline, said: \u201cWe are delighted to have delivered such a strong performance in FY 2025, underpinned by another successful Christmas peak trading period and significant new contract wins. Following the disposal of the PeoplePlus training business in Q1, Staffline has been able to focus exclusively on the recruitment sector, using its financial strength and specialist expertise to grow its market share significantly in a challenging jobs market.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2269\" data-end=\"2420\">He added: \u201cWe start 2026 with cautious optimism despite the continuing macro
