East Midlands homelessness charity Framework is seeking to appoint a finance professional to its Board of Trustees as it looks to support future growth and strengthen strategic oversight.<\/p>\n
The organisation, which has supported more than 25,000 people over the past 25 years, is recruiting a new trustee with financial expertise to contribute to governance, financial resilience and long-term decision making.<\/p>\n
Framework has developed into one of the region\u2019s largest providers of homelessness, housing and support services, delivering assistance to around 18,000 people annually through a network of 70 services spanning housing, health, employment and wider support provision. The charity also provides accommodation for approximately 1,300 people at any one time.<\/p>\n
The voluntary board position offers an opportunity for an experienced finance professional to help shape the future direction of an organisation operating at a significant scale.<\/p>\n

Framework reported annual turnover of \u00a361.9m and a surplus margin of 4.7 per cent, supported by a diversified portfolio of contracts worth approximately \u00a331m. Its balance sheet includes \u00a383.9m in fixed assets, reflecting long-term investment in infrastructure and service delivery.<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will work alongside fellow trustees and the senior leadership team to provide strategic oversight and support the organisation’s continued development at a time of growing demand for services and increased financial pressures across the charitable sector.<\/p>\n
Framework achieved Investors in People Platinum status in 2024, with assessors recognising the organisation’s performance, culture and commitment to delivering measurable outcomes.<\/p>\n
