Wates Land & Development, part of the Wates Group, has announced the acquisition of Midlands-based land promoter Manor Oak Homes.<\/p>\n
Northamptonshire-based Manor Oak Homes, led by founder and managing director Will Main, brings a portfolio of 52 maturing, high-quality sites into the Wates business.<\/p>\n
The deal positions Wates as one of the UK\u2019s largest land promoters and supports the creation of a dedicated Midlands-focused operation.<\/p>\n
The acquisition forms part of Wates\u2019 long-term growth strategy and is intended to reinforce its pipeline of development opportunities across key regional markets.<\/p>\n
Manor Oak will now operate under the name Wates Manor Oak, with its existing leadership team remaining in place to ensure continuity and maintain established relationships with landowners and partners.<\/p>\n
The integration brings together two family-owned businesses with similar long-term approaches to land, planning and development, as well as a shared focus on delivery quality and stakeholder relationships.<\/p>\n
