Singapore-based fashion manufacturer Q Collection has completed work on its new UK headquarters in Ashby.<\/p>\n
To deliver the 7,000 sq ft fit-out, Q Collection appointed workplace design specialist Blueprint Interiors, which completed the project over an eight-week programme.<\/p>\n
The company, which produces apparel and textiles for international fashion retailers, has established the new base at Excelsior House on Excelsior Road.<\/p>\n
The result is a specialist hybrid facility combining office, design and advanced manufacturing functions, including a lingerie lab equipped with sewing machines, cutting tables, cup moulders and a dark room, alongside a knitting lab featuring full-scale knitting machines, steam pressing equipment and a yarn library.<\/p>\n
It also includes a dedicated fit room linked to a presentation space with tiered seating and runway facilities, enabling co-creation sessions between designers and clients. The space incorporates 3D modelling technology to support the development of new collections.<\/p>\n
A client lounge doubles as a showroom and retail-style environment, supported by advanced video conferencing systems designed to enable real-time collaboration across Q Collection\u2019s international sites.<\/p>\n

This marks the third project Blueprint Interiors has delivered for Q Collection, following previous work on its Singapore headquarters and a 50-person office facility in Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n

Every element has a purpose from the furniture to the fixtures and fittings and can be moved and adapted as the space evolves.
