Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) has secured a \u00a370m funding facility from NatWest to support its plans to deliver around 2,000 new homes and upgrade existing properties over the next five years.<\/p>\n
The revolving credit facility will provide additional financial capacity for the East Midlands housing provider as it progresses a wider \u00a3408m investment programme.<\/p>\n
Headquartered in Nottingham, NCHA manages around 10,000 homes across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.<\/p>\n
The organisation plans to use the funding to support new affordable housing delivery alongside improvements to its existing housing stock.<\/p>\n
Energy efficiency remains a key focus, with NCHA investing around \u00a314m by 2030 to retrofit properties and improve performance.<\/p>\n
The housing association has already achieved EPC Band C or above across around 87% of its homes, with future developments targeting EPC Band B and A standards where possible.<\/p>\n

Demand for good quality, secure and affordable housing remains high across the East Midlands, and this NatWest facility gives us added capacity and resilience as we progress our development plans.\u201d<\/p>\n
Alongside housing delivery, NCHA continues to support skills development through Access Training, its joint venture with Futures Housing. The apprenticeship and training provider supports more than 1,000 learners each year across sectors including construction, healthcare, early years and customer service.<\/p>\n
