Care Perspectives has completed the acquisition of Positive Pathways, strengthening its position as a provider of therapeutic support and residential care for children and young people with complex needs.<\/p>\n
The deal will expand Care Perspectives\u2019 presence across the Midlands while supporting its aim of delivering child-centred residential services for looked-after children.<\/p>\n
Positive Pathways was founded by Kevin and Danielle Epps, who are now handing over the running of the organisation\u2019s six Birmingham-area children\u2019s homes to Care Perspectives, with both businesses sharing a focus on empowering young people through specialist care and support.<\/p>\n
Both organisations operate residential homes in community settings, designed to help children develop independent living skills while maintaining links with local education providers and community services.<\/p>\n
Based in Leicester, Care Perspectives currently operates 10 children\u2019s homes across the Midlands, with a further four sites due to open this year.<\/p>\n
The organisation also runs New Perspectives School, an independent specialist school supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.<\/p>\n

Care Perspectives was supported on the acquisition by the corporate finance team at MHA, which provided acquisition advisory and financial due diligence services.<\/p>\n
The MHA advisory team was led by Rob Holgate and Francis McGuigan from the corporate finance division, alongside Rob Dawes, partner in the transaction services team.<\/p>\n
