Property consultancy Fisher German has been appointed by Cadent to provide planning and land referencing services across the East Midlands under a new contract lasting an initial three years.<\/p>\n
The agreement follows a review of Cadent\u2019s supplier delivery model, with the UK\u2019s largest gas distribution network moving to a single-supplier approach for its regional land and planning services to improve consistency across infrastructure projects.<\/p>\n
Under the contract, Fisher German will support the delivery of projects across Cadent\u2019s network, providing services including land acquisition, planning applications, lease renewals, access rights, land referencing, legal rights negotiations and compensation agreements. The consultancy will also assist with more complex infrastructure schemes through Cadent\u2019s specialist framework.<\/p>\n
The work will be led from Fisher German\u2019s headquarters in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, drawing on expertise from its utilities and infrastructure, planning, land rights and GIS teams.<\/p>\n
