Severn Trent Water is preparing to engage with the supply chain ahead of the launch of new capital delivery frameworks that could support up to \u00a325bn of investment across the Midlands.<\/p>\n
The proposed frameworks will become the water company\u2019s main commercial and delivery platform for future infrastructure projects, supporting investment plans across the AMP9, AMP10 and AMP11 regulatory periods.<\/p>\n
The programme forms part of Severn Trent\u2019s wider investment strategy under England\u2019s Big Upgrade, aimed at improving water and wastewater resilience, responding to increasing demand and delivering environmental improvements across the region.<\/p>\n
Severn Trent said the upcoming market engagement process does not represent a new investment announcement, but forms part of its existing long-term capital delivery plans and procurement activity.<\/p>\n
Alongside the capital delivery framework process, the company will also launch a separate design services tender to support a more integrated approach between project design, construction and supply chain partners.<\/p>\n
Procurement is expected to begin in early 2027, with Severn Trent looking to attract a broad range of suppliers, from major contractors to regional businesses and SMEs, to support the scale and complexity of the programme.<\/p>\n
The frameworks will be designed to provide continuity as the business moves between regulatory periods, while maintaining delivery momentum from existing AMP8 programmes through current supply chain partners.<\/p>\n
Potential suppliers will be invited to take part in a dedicated market engagement event, providing an opportunity to understand Severn Trent\u2019s future pipeline, commercial approach and opportunities to work alongside the company.<\/p>\n
