Clowes Developments has expanded its Castlewood Business Park in Sutton-in-Ashfield after acquiring additional land to bring forward a new 111,739 sq ft industrial and logistics building.<\/p>\n
Already secured planning consent, the development will be available on either a freehold or leasehold basis and is aimed at manufacturers, logistics operators and distribution businesses seeking large-scale premises in the East Midlands.<\/p>\n
Located adjacent to the A38 and close to Junction 28 of the M1, the scheme will comprise almost 107,000 sq ft of warehouse space alongside two floors of office accommodation.<\/p>\n
The building is targeting a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating, EPC A certification and Net Zero operation, with a power supply of up to 1.5MVA.<\/p>\n
The latest investment continues the expansion of Castlewood Business Park, where Clowes has delivered around 1.6 million sq ft of industrial and commercial space. Existing occupiers include Co-op, Cencora, Parker Knoll, ConSpare and ProSpare.<\/p>\n
