Robertson Construction Yorkshire & East Midlands has secured a place on YORhub’s new \u00a31.5bn YORbuild Major Works 2 Framework.<\/p>\n
The contractor has been appointed to Lot 1 of the framework, covering projects valued between \u00a310m and \u00a330m, enabling it to bid for a range of major developments on behalf of eligible public and third sector organisations across the region.<\/p>\n
The framework provides a procurement route for projects including new-build developments, refurbishments, contractor-designed schemes, decarbonisation programmes, maintenance works and long-term contracts, while placing a strong emphasis on social value and regional supply chains.<\/p>\n
It builds on Robertson’s existing position on the YORbuild3 Medium Works framework, where it continues to deliver projects valued between \u00a34m and \u00a310m. Current schemes include a new \u00a39m teaching block at Bingley Grammar School for Bradford Council, while the business recently completed a sustainable engineering and science innovation hub at Chesterfield College.<\/p>\n
Robertson said it will continue to prioritise social value through the framework, pointing to the Chesterfield College project, which created 28 local full-time jobs, delivered 270 apprenticeship weeks and generated \u00a36.5m in social value under the National TOMs Framework. The project also achieved two perfect Considerate Constructors Scheme scores before winning Gold at the 2026 CCS National Site Awards.<\/p>\n
The contractor is also supporting YORhub’s YOR4Good community fund through initiatives including the creation of a sensory garden at Chesterfield College and improvements to outdoor learning spaces at Parkside Primary Academy.<\/p>\n
