Derbyshire-based cleaning products manufacturer Dri-Pak has secured a \u00a31.843m funding package from HSBC UK to expand its production capacity across two sites.<\/p>\n
The investment will fund a new 100,000 sq ft packing facility in Nottingham, which has been designed to handle both food and non-food products. The site will be fitted with new packing lines, automated equipment and machinery for manufacturing salt-based cleaning products.<\/p>\n
The funding has also supported leasehold improvements and the installation of eight new silos, which the business expects will double production capacity while increasing flexibility across its supply chain.<\/p>\n
Alongside the Nottingham investment, Dri-Pak will upgrade its long-standing manufacturing site in Manchester, where Soda Crystals have been produced since 1823.<\/p>\n
The improvements include new automated production lines and packaging equipment, which are expected to increase output by around 15% and ease existing capacity constraints.<\/p>\n
The business also said the upgrades will support its plans to achieve British Retail Consortium (BRC) accreditation, helping strengthen relationships with major supermarket retailers.<\/p>\n
Dri-Pak said demand continues to grow for products including Soda Crystals, White Vinegar and Bicarbonate of Soda, which are made from natural ingredients and marketed as alternatives to specialist household cleaning products.<\/p>\n
