A Mansfield-based fire safety business has been acquired following a two-year period of expansion that saw revenues rise by almost three-quarters and EBITDA nearly triple.<\/p>\n
Integrated Doorset Solutions Group (IDSL), which provides fire door manufacturing, inspection, maintenance and related compliance services, has been acquired by Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG).<\/p>\n
The deal marks the end of a partnership with private equity investor LDC, which backed IDSL’s management team in May 2024.<\/p>\n
During that period, the business expanded through both organic investment and acquisitions, including Hartland Fire in November 2024 and Fire Doors Rite in January 2026.<\/p>\n
The growth has taken revenue to \u00a360m, up 73%, while EBITDA has increased to \u00a314m. Employee numbers have also risen from 286 to 485, representing growth of around 70%.<\/p>\n
IDSL has expanded its operational footprint during the partnership, including opening a new 20,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Mansfield.<\/p>\n
Investment has also been made in technology, people and environmental initiatives. The company achieved ISO 14064 accreditation for carbon measurement, introduced a fleet emissions reduction programme and strengthened its waste management processes, while retaining FSC certification for sustainably sourced timber.<\/p>\n

For LDC, the investment centred on supporting management’s expansion strategy, with acquisitions helping to broaden IDSL’s customer base and strengthen its inspection and maintenance capabilities.<\/p>\n

The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals.<\/p>\n
