A Northamptonshire business specialising in modular and temporary structures has filed a notice of intention to appoint an administrator, giving it a period of protection from creditor action while its financial position is assessed.

Losberger De Boer UK, which is based in Brackley, designs, manufactures and supplies temporary, semi-permanent and permanent modular buildings and structures.

The company filed the notice through legal firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. A notice of intention to appoint an administrator provides protection from creditor enforcement for 10 business days.

Accounts for 2025 show the business employed 39 people.

Losberger De Boer supplies structures for a wide range of sectors, including events, hospitality, industrial and commercial customers, public bodies and emergency services.

Its event work includes large temporary structures, hospitality facilities, VIP pavilions and marquees, while its commercial offering covers warehouses, production facilities, temporary retail space and aircraft hangars.

The company also provides rapid-deployment structures for emergency, humanitarian and military applications, alongside temporary facilities for schools, sports venues and other public uses.

The notice does not itself mean the company has entered administration, but provides a period in which its financial position and potential options can be considered.
