Henry Boot’s property arm HBD has secured more than 400,000 sq ft of industrial and logistics lettings across its Origin portfolio, including a major pre-let at Markham Vale in Derbyshire.<\/p>\n
The deals mean 66% of Origin’s 711,000 sq ft portfolio is now either let or under offer, highlighting continued demand for modern industrial space across well-connected regional locations.<\/p>\n
At Markham Vale, a 53,800 sq ft unit at the \u00a39m ARK phase two development has been pre-let to a manufacturing business. The new facility is due to complete in September 2026 and will allow the occupier to consolidate its operations with direct access to the M1.<\/p>\n
The Derbyshire deal forms part of 404,100 sq ft of space secured across Origin, HBD’s joint venture with Feldberg Capital.<\/p>\n
Elsewhere, two units at the 13-acre SPARK development in Walsall have been let, including a 250,000 sq ft facility taken by logistics business Relay Tech and an 18,300 sq ft unit leased by a major energy supplier. The agreements mean the first phase of the \u00a353m GDV scheme is now fully occupied.<\/p>\n
At APTUS in Preston, online wine retailer Virgin Wines has taken 82,000 sq ft across two units, relocating within the town after more than two decades there. The space forms part of the second phase of the \u00a3100m industrial and logistics scheme, which is due to complete in November.<\/p>\n
