hire business seeks fresh protection less than a year after pre-pack rescue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Loughborough vehicle hire business has filed a second notice of intention to appoint administrators, just six months after buying the operations of Reflex Vehicle Hire through a pre-pack deal.<\/p>\n<p>Reflex Fleet Solutions filed its latest notice today, following its first NOI on Wednesday 5 August through law firm Shoosmiths, securing protection from creditor action as it considers its next steps.<\/p>\n<p>Options include a sale, refinancing, restructuring or administration.<\/p>\n<p>The latest filing comes around six months after Reflex Fleet Solutions was established to acquire the trade and assets of Reflex Vehicle Hire following its administration in December 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Grant Thornton was appointed administrator to Reflex Vehicle Hire and completed a pre-pack sale shortly afterwards, with Reflex Fleet Solutions acquiring the majority of the business and its assets for \u00a36.14m.<\/p>\n<p>The transaction transferred 47 employees to the new company under TUPE arrangements, preserving their jobs and allowing the vehicle hire operation to continue trading.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of the deal, Reflex Fleet Solutions said the acquisition would provide the business with a stronger capital base and enable further investment in its fleet, technology and customer service.<\/p>\n<p>The latest notice means the business is once again operating under creditor protection while its directors assess its next steps.<\/p>\n<p>Reflex Fleet Solutions has not yet announced whether it intends to pursue a restructuring, refinancing, sale or administration.<\/p>\n<p>The company is based in Loughborough and operates in the vehicle hire and
