He has also held senior technology positions at BDO.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Jones began his career as a software developer before moving into technology leadership and has experience working with platforms including Microsoft and Workday, as well as specialist legal technology.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">His appointment comes as law firms increasingly invest in AI, automation and data technology to improve productivity and change how legal services are delivered.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Karl Jansen, national managing partner at Freeths, said: &#8220;John joins Freeths at an important point in our ongoing growth and development.
