The Mermaid and The Lodge can accommodate up to 62 guests across the two properties, with both venues attracting groups visiting the area for celebrations, family and friends’ get-togethers and residential business stays.<\/p>\n
Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has been instructed to handle the sale, with the freehold business being marketed at offers above \u00a32.25m.<\/p>\n
The properties sit within the Dark Peak area of the national park, with The Lodge located around five minutes from Flash, England’s highest village.<\/p>\n
Both venues feature en-suite bedrooms, refurbished interiors and games rooms. The Mermaid also retains the traditional pub area from its former use as a coaching inn, adding to the character of the property.<\/p>\n
The business has built up a strong base of repeat customers and is described as both highly profitable and well established. Its current owners operate it remotely on a largely hands-off basis, giving a new owner flexibility over where they choose to live.<\/p>\n
Potential locations could include the Peak District itself, as well as nearby cities and areas such as Manchester, Sheffield and Cheshire.<\/p>\n
