Concept Life Sciences has appointed Dr Adrijana Vinter as chief executive, bringing more than two decades of experience in drug discovery, commercial development and leadership across the pharmaceutical and contract research sectors.<\/p>\n
Vinter joins the contract research organisation (CRO) from Selvita, where she was Global Head of Drug Discovery and a member of its Management Board.<\/p>\n
She was responsible for a drug discovery business generating approximately \u20ac50m in revenue and employing more than 400 people across Europe and the US.<\/p>\n
Her role at Selvita covered the strategic and scientific development of integrated drug discovery services, spanning chemistry, biology, DMPK, bioinformatics and translational research.<\/p>\n
She also supported the adoption of emerging discovery technologies, including AI-supported drug discovery, spatial omics and translational models.<\/p>\n
Before joining Selvita, Vinter held chief executive and chief commercial officer positions at Fidelta, becoming CEO in 2016. During her tenure, she expanded the company\u2019s client base in the US and Europe, delivered year-on-year revenue growth and oversaw investment in infrastructure, including laboratory facilities. She also played a key role in Fidelta\u2019s acquisition by Selvita in 2021.<\/p>\n

Vinter began her scientific career in medicinal chemistry, holding roles at PLIVA, GlaxoSmithKline and Galapagos. Alongside her executive work, she has been involved in governance, research consortia, conference leadership and mentoring initiatives.<\/p>\n
