The first phase of Sleaford Moor Enterprise Park in Lincolnshire has reached full occupancy following the letting of its final 1,690 sq ft unit.<\/p>\n
Commercial property agent BTG Eddisons, which acted as sole agent for the first phase, confirmed the deal brings all 15 units across plots one and three into occupation.<\/p>\n
Located off Pride Parkway, north of Sleaford and alongside the A17, the 37-acre employment site is being developed by North Kesteven District Council as a long-term location for business growth. Development began in 2021, with all 41,469 sq ft of space delivered so far now let.<\/p>\n
Occupiers represent a range of sectors, including utilities, building contracting and pet food manufacturing, with both local businesses and national operators taking space.<\/p>\n
BTG Eddisons said the units\u2019 design, operational efficiency and landscaped surroundings had helped attract occupiers, alongside the site\u2019s access to the A17, a key east-west route linking the A1 with ports on the east coast.<\/p>\n
William Nuttall of BTG Eddisons, who led negotiations for the latest letting said: \u201cThe park sits well as a modern extension to the already established commercial industrial area in north east of Sleaford, on the crucial A17 which is an important East-West link connecting the A1 with the East Coast ports.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe emphasis on the quality of the units, in terms of form and function when it comes to operational and running costs, as well as the wider setting of the Park, has resulted in attracting a range of occupiers in the first phases who are now all part of the pioneering story in looking forward to the next phase of development.\u201d<\/p>\n
North Kesteven District Council leader Councillor Richard Wright said the development was intended to attract investment and create employment opportunities in Sleaford, adding that the first 15 units had demonstrated demand for the space.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cWe are incredibly proud that our Sleaford Moor Enterprise Park is fully let so far and has become the thriving place for business, growth and innovation that we knew it had the potential to be.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe aim of purchasing the site and creating a high-quality business park was to unlock growth and bring new jobs to Sleaford, as well as showcase the District as a great place to work and do business in, and it\u2019s clearly achieving that already through this first phase of 15 fully let units.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt also shows the importance of building better. We\u2019ve provided units that are high-quality and flexible spaces, which are well-designed to meet business needs as well as being futureproofed with energy conscious features such as solar panels and EV charging points, and all sitting within an attractive business park space.\u201d<\/p>\n
Further development is planned on plots four and five. The second phase has also been identified as a potential location for a new facility by Clean Planet Energy, part of the Clean Planet Group.<\/p>\n
The UK clean-technology company plans to develop an ecoPlant at the site, converting hard-to-recycle plastics into circular products for industrial use, subject to securing planning permission.<\/p>\n
If approved, the project is estimated to create between 50 and 70 direct jobs locally, while diverting plastic waste from incineration and landfill.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
