{"id":2116440,"date":"2026-10-22T10:45:27","date_gmt":"2026-10-22T09:45:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/eastmidlands\/?p=2116440"},"modified":"2026-10-22T10:46:13","modified_gmt":"2026-10-22T09:46:13","slug":"derbion-cooks-up-a-fresh-retail-addition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/eastmidlands\/news\/2116440-derbion-cooks-up-a-fresh-retail-addition","title":{"rendered":"Derbion cooks up a fresh retail addition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Derbion is continuing to broaden its retail mix with the planned autumn arrival of ProCook, bringing the specialist kitchenware retailer to the Derby shopping destination.<\/p>\n<p>The 2,241 sq ft unit will be situated on Level 1 and feature ProCook\u2019s latest store concept, designed to provide customers with an accessible and engaging environment in which to browse its kitchen and dining collections.<\/p>\n<p>The new store will stock a broad selection of products spanning cookware, bakeware, tableware, electrical appliances and kitchen accessories, catering to a range of customer needs, occasions and price points.<\/p>\n<p>Established in 1996 as a family-run business, ProCook was founded on the principle that professional-quality kitchen equipment should be available at affordable prices. The retailer has since expanded its UK footprint to 80 locations.<\/p>\n<p>Its arrival adds to a growing line-up of new retailers and operators joining Derbion. Recent additions include Superdry &amp; Co, BarnDawg and health and beauty brands Bath &amp; Body Works, Bodycare, Royal Oud and Th\u00e9rapie. Dew, a combined cake shop and craft caf\u00e9, is also preparing to open at the centre in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Beth McDonald, managing director of Derbion said: \u201cProCook is a fantastic addition to our growing retail offer at Derbion, bringing its specialist kitchen and dining products to shoppers.
