Northamptonshire health and safety consultancy Acorn Safety Services has launched a recruitment drive after more than doubling its workforce over the past three years.

The Moulton Park-based company is looking to add staff across its health and safety, legionella and fire safety divisions following a series of nationwide contract wins and increased customer demand.

Vacancies include qualified risk assessors, a trainee legionella risk assessor and a trainee fire risk assessor.

The recruitment push follows the appointment of a new operations administrator, five new starters in the company’s fire safety division and two recruits to its legionella team.

Acorn said its expansion had been driven by rising demand for its services across the UK.

The recruitment programme is being led by operations director Zeynep Guzelkasap.

She said: “It is our mission to create safer spaces for all and in order to do that, we have to have a talented team of driven and dedicated professionals who are willing to learn and grow.

“The team we have built are exactly that, consummate professionals who really care about what they do and about our customers. Our hires are always carefully thought out to ensure that they fit – not just the job specification but also the culture of our team.

“We are looking for people who really want to make a difference in our industry and, like us, are passionate about health and safety and protecting as many people as possible.

“In return, we can offer a supportive working environment, with numerous opportunities to grow and thrive.”
