Castle Donington-based WLR Group has made its first move into Staffordshire with the acquisition of Burton-on-Trent accountancy firm The Chartwell Practice.<\/p>\n
The deal is the latest in a series of acquisitions by WLR, following the purchases of Tamar Accounting in Plymouth, Barnes Clark Family Law in Yorkshire and Blackwell Bate in Cornwall.<\/p>\n
Financial terms have not been disclosed.<\/p>\n
The Chartwell Practice will continue operating from Chartwell House on St Paul’s Square in Burton, with directors Martin Chilver and Steven Bourne and the existing team remaining with the business.<\/p>\n
WLR operates businesses across accountancy, legal services, finance, insurance and strategic advisory as it looks to build a national professional services group.<\/p>\n
