We are delighted to invite you to join us for the virtual launch of the inaugural Northern Asian Powerlist 2020. The Northern Asian Powerlist will showcase the businesses, professionals, influencers, media, politicians, third sector, and influential women across the Northern Powerhouse.
The Asian community has, for decades, provided a powerful and varied contribution to the UK and, in particular, the north of England. The Northern Asian Powerlist is timely and important recognition and celebration of this contribution and seeks to tell the multitude of stories that have come to light during the development of this Powerlist.
We are excited to showcase the Asian communities’ talent for doing brilliant things across the north of England. 2020 marks the first year of this celebration. From our work to date, it is clear that the Asian community is making a powerful contribution to all walks of life in every town and city, whether business, cultural, academic, or civic.
