Shelina Begum, North West editor at TheBusinessDesk.com, which is curating the event, said: “Sustainability is a hugely important topic that is impacting on how businesses operate.

“A company’s sustainability strategy can now affect its ability to win contracts, raise finance, and attract talent – and this trend is only going to accelerate in the future.”

Squire Patton Boggs and musicMagpie are headline sponsors of In the Circle North West.

They will lead sessions on the fast-growing hydrogen sector and the role of recommerce respectively.

Transport, manufacturing, construction, supply chain, green finance, and the North West’s response to the crucial COP26 summit are also under the spotlight.

In the Circle is also being supported by Orderly, Whitecap Consulting, and the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.
