New managing partner for Forbes as firm expands exec team

Pauline Rigby is new managing partner at Forbes

Law firm Forbes has appointed Pauline Rigby as managing partner as it also expands its executive team to drive further growth.

Having been with the firm for 20 years since joining as a trainee, Pauling succeeds Daniel King, who remains as a key member of the firm’s executive leadership team.

In her new role, Pauline will be instrumental in the delivery of the strategic direction of the firm, working with Oliver Burton, CEO, as it continues to build on its established commercially-focused proposition for ambitious businesses, entrepreneurs, individuals and fast-growing sectors.

She will retain a keen focus on talent and nurturing a collegiate and supportive culture when she assumes the managing partner role from 1 June 2022.

Partners Jonathan Holden and Stuart Penswick will also join Oliver Burton, on the executive board along with Mike Bentham, finance director.

Managing partner Pauline Rigby said: “We’ve successfully fostered a culture that means we are trusted by successful businesses and entrepreneurs to support them on their growth journey.

“It’s thanks to the resilience and ingenuity of our clients that we’ve been able to continue to invest in and expand our own business.

“There’s a significant opportunity for Forbes over the next few years which is why we’ve expanded our executive team.

“We are confident we have the right talent to deliver against our goals and I’m looking forward to working with the exec team and partners to achieve our ambitions.”

Oliver Burton, CEO at Forbes Solicitors, added: “Pauline, Jonathan and Stuart have all proven their leadership capabilities by successfully leading large teams, as well as continuing to advise and support clients within their respective areas of the firm.

“Our commitment to attracting and retaining the best people while delivering exceptional client service will continue to be a priority for the exec team.”
