Administrators called in at car firm

AN Oldham-based firm that supplies cars to driving schools and other business has gone into administration.
David Whitehouse and Sarah Bell, partners at the Manchester office of accountancy firm MCR, were appointed to Factory Outlet Car Sales on March 4.
They are now looking for a buyer for the business which employed 15 staff. It is owned by directors Paul Lester and Robert Smith.
Ms Bell said: “It is still too early in the process to give a definitive reason as to why the company has fallen into administration. However, we are actively trading the company with a view to a trade sale and would encourage any interested parties to come forward.”
The administrators said only one member of staff had been made redundant.
