Pannone’s Chambers fillip

MANCHESTER law firm Pannone has increased the number staff ranked as ‘‘leaders in their field’ by the influential Chambers legal publication.

In the Chambers UK Guide 2012, which will be published later this year, Pannone has 49 lawyers, compared with 43 last year.

Experts from a broad range of disciplines including clinical negligence, personal injury, family, employment, construction, tax, environment, insolvency, real estate, dispute resolution, banking, local government , IT/IP and corporate.

In Pannone’s personal injury and clinical negligence teams, 17 partners were cited as leaders in their field including newcomers Gill Edwards and Patrick Walsh.

Five partners from the family team were singled-out – Andrew Newbury, Catherine Jones, Beth Wilkins, Ed Kitchen and Louise Halford who specialises in international child abduction.

Others who are also those singled out for the first time are Amy Chandler, a senior associate in the IT/IP team, banking partner Andrew Gosnay and Nicholas Dobson, senior consultant in the local government team.
