Everton scores with electrical retailer Best Buy

EVERTON FC has signed a one-year sponsorship deal with Best Buy, the electronics retailer.
The US company, which has nine UK stores -including Aintree in Liverpool, has become the club’s official technology partner.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The deak is Best Buy’s first foray into sport sponsorship in this country – but in the US it is well-established, particularly in motor sport.
Everton commercial director Dave Biggar said: “Best Buy is an internationally recognised brand and we’re proud to be working with a company which shares our commitment to developing the matchday experience.”
Ian Boyton, sponsorship and events manager at Best Buy UK, said: “We are very proud to be supporting Everton Football Club. Everton fans are up there as some of the most passionate and connected supporters in the country and we’re thrilled to be joining them at the start of this exciting new season in the Barclays Premier League.
“Supporting our customers and their sports and entertainment interests has always been a focus for the Best Buy brand. Sponsorships such as the one which sees us partner with Everton are something we are keen to develop.”
