Alderley Park power systems business sold to Czech energy giant in £5.5m+ deal

Eurosite Power, a specialist in combined heat and power systems based in Alderley Park-based has been acquired by Tedom, a Czech-headquartered global energy group for £5.58m.

Previously owned by New York-based Aivita Group, Eurosite Power specialises in on-site energy solutions, including combined heat and power (CHP) systems.

EuroSite, based in the Glasshouse at Alderley Park, supplies clean electricity, heat, hot water and cooling solutions to healthcare, hospitality, housing and leisure centres in the UK and Europe.

The acquisition supports Tedom’s wider strategy to grow its footprint across the UK and Europe.

Operating in more than 40 countries, Tedom has a strong track record in decentralised energy, with the addition of Eurosite Power expected to strengthen its presence in the UK market.

Dow Schofield Watts’ corporate finance team in the North West advised Aivita Group on the sale.
