Planning application submitted for leisure-led regeneration at Bootle Golf Course
Plans for Bootle Golf Course and the surrounding area have taken the next step with a planning application now submitted for a new leisure development on land next to the course.
The application shows significant progress in Sefton Council's partnership with East Sussex-based Lumira Group - headed by former Everton FC striker Victor Anichebe - which was announced in March this year and aims to bring around £20m of private investment into Bootle.
