Burnley FC accounts reveal stark cost of relegation from Premier League
The huge contrast in relegation from the English Premier League to the Championship has been laid bare in Burnley FC’s latest accounts.
Burnley FC Holdings has filed its financial results for the year ended July 31, 2026, which included the club’s relegation from the Premier League during season 2025/26.
Turnover reached a record £144.5m compared with £71.7m in 2025, driven by Premier League broadcasting and commercial income.
Match income was £10.258m, up from £9.095m the previous year.
