PwC promotes nine including three partners

BIG Four accountants and business advisers PwC have promoted nine seniopr staff – three partners and six directors in its Liverpool and Manchester offices.
The new partners are: Ed MacNamara (business receovery services), Will Richardson (forensic services) and Dan Stott (financial decisions and analysis).
Mr MacNamara has worked in business recovery since 1999, specialising in corporate advisory and insolvency services, most recently focusing on Lehman Brothers International (Europe). His other sector experiences include financial services, retail and service industries.
Mr Richardson, who leads the firm’s forensic services team across the north, has been with PwC for 18 years.
He has 13 years’ experience in forensic accounting and has handled a variety of cases, including civil and criminal investigations, commercial, shareholder and transactional disputes, professional negligence and international arbitration matters.
Dan Stott is head of the firm’s regional financial decisions and analysis team, which helps clients with business planning and has only been with PwC for 18 months.

Mr Griffiths has also taken on the leadership of the firm’s financial services team across the north. He succeeds Mark Hannam, who has been seconded to PwC’s Sydney, Australia office for three years.
A further six staff have also been promoted as directors; Wendy Mason and Dan Gallagher in corporate finance; Carol Johnson and Simon Thirlwell in tax and in the assurance practice Rebecca Gissing and Jonathan Studholme.
