A NEW Manchester-based brand communication consultancy has been set up to help brand owners to market internationallly.
The agency, known as Language, is run by Ben Hui and Adam Mileusnic. Between them, the pair have experience of design working for agencies and have developed a six-strong team of staff that can speak English, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin and Swahili.
The company will also offer its services to overseas companies wishing to expand in the UK.
Managing director of Language, Ben Hui, said: “Effective communication is vital in these tough economic times – whether you’re a North West company building links with overseas markets or a foreign enterprise setting up in the UK for the first time. We’re here to help businesses shout about what they’ve got in a Language that their audiences will understand and respond positively to.”
The agency will offer a range of skills including logo design, brand strategy, website and digital design, public relations, social media and community engagement.

WEST Midlands-based independent college, Abbey College Birmingham, has appointed Cheshire-based agency Zeus PR to develop its profile.
The commission follows the agency’s successful work on prior campaigns for Abbey College Manchester for parent firm DLD Group of Colleges.
Zeus PR managing director Anthea Fosti said: “We have a longstanding relationship with the group, and are thrilled that this is now being further extended.”

THE Manchester United Museum and Tour has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence by travel review website, TripAdvisor.
The attaction has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence for consistently earning top ratings from TripAdvisor contributors in the past year.
TripAdvisor states that the award is “given only to the most exceptional performers in TripAdvisor’s global business community”.
Manchester United’s director of venue, Karl Evans, said: “We know that the Museum and Tour is popular due to the hundreds of thousands of visitors we welcome each year. However, to be recognised and recommended by not only the fans who do visit us but also TripAdvisor, is a great accomplishment.”
The Manchester United Museum and Tour welcomes more than 340,000 visitors each year.

INSPIRED Energy has appointed digital branding agency the Rococo Group to run its new website.
Rococo, which is part of Manchester-based Online Ventures Group, is providing a range of services including PR, creative, events and social media.

CONSUMER PR consultancy Brazen has landed an account to handle the PR and social media campaign for the Imperial Leather brand from parent firm PZ Cussons.
The agency has carried out work for PZ Cussons’ Original Source brand since 2010.
Caroline Reynolds, Imperial Leather marketing controller, said: “Imperial Leather is such a famous brand, renowned for its original soap bar, but not everyone knows the wealth of products there are under the Imperial Leather umbrella. We’ve brought Brazen on board to tell the story of the master brand and raise awareness of the sub-brands in the portfolio.”

NYPR is has helped client Beautybay.com to pick up two awards from fashion and beauty publication InStyle.
BeautyBay’s marketing manager, Ailsa Illingworth, said: “We have worked with Natalie at NYPR for 18 months and have seen a strong increase in our offline and online PR coverage.
“The awards are a sign of NYPR’s commitment, success and hard work delivered over the past year and a half.”
NYPR has also won new work from niche Manchester law firm, Boote Edgar Esterkin and online designer accessories retailer Shade Station.

ARTWORK designed by a North West creative agency is being used to promote a new TV sci-fi series from Steven Spielberg.
Posters, press ads and digital advertising images for FX UK’s second season of TNT’s Falling Skies were produced by every1, based in Preston.
every1 beat up to three other agencies to win the campaign – the third design project it has completed for Fox International’s UK channels – the others were American Horror Story and Titanic: 100.
Creative director Marcus Stamps said: “This was an exciting project for us, and not only because we’re sci-fi fans.
“The Falling Skies artwork needed to be bolder and in a new direction, to build on the success of series one and capture the interest of its target audience.
“It was something to really get our teeth into, a great challenge, and it’s very satisfying to see it out there now.”
