Award for Bill Braithwaite QC
NORTH West based Bill Braithwaite QC, head of Exchange Chambers in Liverpool, has been named Barrister of The Year at the Personal Injury Awards 2012.
It is the second time in three years Mr Braithwaite has won the award.
A QC for more than 20 years, in the last year he has achieved a number of case successes and also launched a dedicated website for those affected by catastrophic injury and a new discussion group for personal injury specialists throughout the UK.
His most recent concluded case was an £11m settlement for an American client.
On receiving the award, Mr Braithwaite said: “I believe passionately in the rights of those who have suffered catastrophic injury and I am proud to have represented well over 1,000 catastrophic brain or spine injury claimants.”
Exchange Chambers has offices in Manchester and Leeds as well as Liverpool.
