NW Masters 2013: Who will be the champion exporter?

THE North West companies fiying the flag in international markets will be honoured at TheBusinessDesk.com’s third annual Business Masters awards.
With just four days to go to the close of entries for the 2013 awards, competition is expected to be tough in this critical category.
Nominations are now closed.
With international trade at the core of the government’s economic agenda and UK Trade and Investment locally seeking to encourage 1,000 new exporters this year, we’re inviting entries from new and experienced exporters.
The North West Exporter award will celebrate outstanding achievement in international trade.
In 2012 Knutsford company Oliver Valves won the award due to a major surge in its international business during 2011 including two record orders from customers in Brazil and Qatar.
The North West Exporter award is one of six awards which will be announced at a prestigious event on April 25 at the five star Lowry Hotel in Salford.
Like no other business awards, The North West Masters makes the shortlisted companies the stars of the event, with the achievements of the three finalists in each category celebrated at the lunch-time awards ceremony.
Sponsors include international airline Etihad, law firm Weightmans and accountants Baker Tilly.
North West Ambassador: Greatest contribution to business in the region
North West Newcomer: Best new business initiative
North West Pride: Most meaningful philanthropic initiative by a business, organisation or leader
North West Innovator: Most creative product, idea or original business thinking
