Overseas markets push Driver Group ahead
LANCASHIRE construction and engineering consultancy Driver Group expects to beat full-year management targets.
In a trading update the Rawtenstall-based company, which operates globally, said it had seen strong trading in the six months to the end of March, and had a strong pipeline of new work.
Its Middle East business is trading ahead of management’s expectations with “very good” forward order books and the European and African operations have also performed well
It said: “The company continues with its planned investment in the Americas and Asia Pacific and expect to see benefits coming through in the final quarter.
“As a result of the continued strength in trading and levels of secured workload the board believes the company will exceed management expectations for the current financial year.”
