Appointments: Linder Myers; The Manufacturing Institute; GM Chamber & more

NORTH West law firm Linder Myers has added a further partner to its corporate team with the recruitment of Victoria Zivkovic.

Miss Zivkovic, who specialises in private equity work, joins from DWF in Manchester where she was a director. She was previously with Cobbetts – where she worked with Paul Johnson and Sean Fitzgerald, both now partners with Linder Myers.

She said: “Moving to Linder Myers was a natural step having built a strong team with Paul and Sean in previous firms and I look forward to contributing to the growth of the practice.”

THE Manchester-based charity Manufacturing Institute has made a number of appointments to strengthen its senior team.

Former Ultraframe UK chief executive Mike Price has been appointed managing director of the organisation’s Enterprises division and will lead all commercial activity including consultancy services and education and training.

Chris Wilkinson has also been appointed managing director for Fab Labs, the digital manufacturing facilities which enable people to design and make prototypes of all descriptions.

In his new role he will lead the growth and development of the Fab Lab network across the UK.

Finally, Donna Edwards has joined the Institute as head of administration and shared services. She was previously operations director and then managing director of Business Link Northwest.

GREATER  Manchester Chamber of Commerce has appointed lawyer Laura Cullen as its new Oldham vice president.

Miss Cullen, who is a solicitor in the corporate and commercial department at Pearson Solicitors, has been involved with the chamber for three years.

As Oldham vice president she will support the Action for Business activities taking place in the borough, and work alongside current president, Craig Dean.

LYMM-based affordable housing developer Mulbury Homes has appointed Kerry Scott as a business development consultant.

She joins Mulbury from City West Housing Trust where she was a development manager and has previously worked for Great Places Housing Group.

Greg Mulligan, a director of Mulbury Homes, said: “Kerry brings with her a wealth of valuable experience within the social housing sector which will help us with our plans for future growth.  We are pleased to have her onboard as she shares our ambition and values.”

MANCHESTER integrated communications agency HGA Creative has hired Gemma McCall as head of business development and Kate Lester as senior designer.
 
Miss McCall joins from Creative Spark and Kate Lester from Ear to the Ground.

HGA Creative, which is 25 years old this year, work with a range of high profile national and international brands including Shop Direct Group, Virgin Media, Lloyds Banking Group, Kellogg’s and Phones 4u.
