Drinks brands on the market as Iconiq goes under

BUYERS are being sought for a portfolio of drinks brands after a Deeside firm went into administration.

Begbies Traynor was appointed to The Iconiq Drinks Company last week days before a winding-up hearing.

The petitioner was Gary Barnshaw, a shareholder of parent company Iconiq Group along with Dawn and Sheila Pritchard.

Iconiq Drinks owns brands such as Icoco, Shlurp!, Ripnsip and Smoove.

Administrator Gary Lee said: “The company has ceased to trade and we are now currently working to identify the possibilites with each brand. If any prospective buyers are interested in exploring options, we ask them to get in touch.”
