Coral confirms £8m deal

PACKAGING company Coral Products has agreed a 10-year contract to supply tote boxes to an online retailer, worth £8m in the first two years alone.

From this month, the AIM-listed Haydock-based company will supply tote boxes for four new managed sites of an unnamed national online retailer.

It said the deal will support the retailer’s growing presence in the advanced logistics and the online fulfilment sector.

Coral used to focus on DVD and CD cases but has seen its trading performance improve by diversifying into other moulded plastic products.
