Appointments: George Davies hires Rearden, Worsley promoted at Ford Campbell

LAW firm George Davies has hired property finance expert Shaun Rearden from Manchester rival Cobbetts. 

Mr Rearden has spent more than 25 years specialising in finance law and advises on acquisition finance, property finance, restructuring, receivable and asset based finance. He is highly rated in the Legal 500 and has joined George Davies as a director.

CORPORATE finance house Ford Campbell has promoted Neil Worsley to partner.

Mr Worsley joined Manchester-based Ford Campbell in 2005 and has advised on the full range of corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals and development capital deals.

He now heads up all aspects of deal origination, and will also continue to advise on some key transactions as well as mentoring assignments.

Ford Campbell founder Tony Ford said: “Neil is very well respected within Ford Campbell and in the wider business community.  He has become an integral part of the team in both originating and executing deals.”
