Appointments: Gledhill joins Barclays; New starters at PH Media

BARCLAYS Corporate has appointed Jason Gledhill as a relationship director at its Manchester office.

Gledhill has joined from Allied Irish Bank where he spent two years running their corporate banking team in the North focused on deals of more than £10m.

Prior to Allied Irish he spent 20 years with Lloyds TSB in a variety of roles for retail, commercial and corporate Banking. At Lloyds he led the Holidaybreak re-finance in 2007, a £275m syndicate deal.

Michael Hartig, head of Barclays Corporate in Manchester, said: “Jason’s appointment is a reflection of our confidence in the business opportunities within the region and our desire to support a more specialised approach to the market by continuing to segment ourselves along industry sectors.”

AUDIO marketeer PH Media Group has appointed two new team members.

Angela Chapman has joined as market analyst manager, responsible for analysing and profiling the company’s current and prospective client lists to create a more effective sales approach. She joins from telecoms company Daisy.

Mark Rea has taken the role of business development manager. He previously worked for T-Mobile.

Jason Daye, operations director for the Manchester-based group, said: “PH Media Group is a forward-thinking company and we’re dedicated to the growth of our business and our team.”
