Arriva gives airport bus service £1.5m boost

BUS company Arriva has invested £1.5m in a new fleet of 11 buses, to run on an existing route between Altrincham and Manchester Airport.

The new single deck buses will run on the number 19 service between Altrincham, Sale, Wythenshawe and Manchester Airport, from Easter Sunday.

John Rimmer, operations director for Arriva North West, said: “This is a significant investment and underlines Arriva’s commitment to providing the best possible transport links to key locations such as Manchester Airport.”
