Steelcase adds Manchester to showroom network

OFFICE furniture giant Steelcase UK is expanding into the North West with a showroom in Manchester city centre.

The Manchester ‘WorkLife’ showroom and working office will open in the Belvedere development on Booth Street this summer.

One of 22 in cities around the world, it will showcase how changes in the design of the working environment can help to make businesses more efficient.

Oliver Ronald has been appointed regional sales manager in the North West and Cindy Giammattei will head up marketing.  A further two appointments are yet to be announced.

Steelcase continue its existing partnerships with North West dealers and is also looking to  take on more dealer partnerships in the region.

Mark Spragg, managing director of Steelcase UK, said: “Expansion into the North West is an exciting and natural progression for us. We have longstanding partnerships with customers and dealers in the region that we are keen to support.”

He added: “Our discussions with organisations in the area have identified a real need for support in developing the way people work to continue the thinking and development of organisations in the area.”
