Appointments: JMW unit expands; Seal to drive Stripes ahead

ML Solutions 4u Ltd, part of JMW Solicitors, has appointed compliance consultant Stuart Carson as a director.

Mr Carson has previously headed up compliance departments in a number of international organisations, onshore in the regulated sector and in offshore jurisdictions.

In his new role, he will be responsible for day-to-day running and providing compliance training.

 MANCHESTER law firm Stripes Solicitors has appointed former professional cricketer Peter Seal as business development manager.

Peter, who played for Lancashire Country Cricket Club (LCCC) in the early 1990s, will be responsible for further developing relationships with corporate clients and will combine his new role with running his legal recruitment firm, Fenton Seal.

Stripes has also appointed Simon Bowkett as practice manager. He previously held the same position for nine years at Cheshire firm, Poole Alcock.
